Bled
Bled, where we spent last two night of our Croatia tour, is Slovenia's most popular resort. Bled Castle, the city's most famous landmark, perching on a steep cliff high above the lake, offers a breathtaking views of the valley. The Castle is a true medieval fortress with its huge towers, ramparts, moats and a terrace. Ljubljana/Bled

Ljubljana
Located at the middle of a trade route between the northern Adriatic Sea and the Danube region, Ljubljana was the historical capital of Carniola, a Slovene-inhabited part of Austria-Hungary, and it has been the cultural, educational, economic, political, and administrative center of independent Slovenia since 1991. Here we took a guided tour of old town and then spent another two hours of free time strolling among the beautiful buildings and ancient streets. Ljubljana
