The Gornergrat is a rocky ridge of the Pennine Alps. It can be reached by the cogwheel train, the highest open-air railway in Europe, from Zermatt (1620 m) to Gornergrat summit (3,089 m). The beautiful mountain panoramas opens up at the vantage point.
