Everglade National Park II

After disembarking from the cruise ship we went to the Everglade City to have a boat tour and the next day we came back to Shark Valley to have a tram tour.  Both tours are led by National Park trained naturalist. In addition to being educational, these tours are quite enjoyable and memorable too.

Everglade National Park I

After arriving Miami and checking into the hotel we start off the trip with a visit to the Shark Valley Visitor Center, one of the popular centers of Everglade National Park located about 35 miles west of Miami. Shark Valley is a magnet for wading birds, most of them are within 50 feet  and can be easily photographed with the mid range lens. Click the link to view album.

Flamingo Garden

This is the day we embarked on the Majesty of the Sea to start our Bahama cruise. But before getting on board we went to the Flamingo Garden and Wild Life Sanctuary where its sanctuary is home to a large collection of native Florida wildlife. Click the link to view album.

 Miami Day 4

Miami

Our host at Miami, Eddie, was very considerate and generous. He throw a lavish party on the first night of our arrival and took us to some of the most fun places in Miami for the next two days.

Bahama Cruise

Technically this is a 5 days 4 nights cruise, however only three full days are accountable for the pleasure of cruise. Our cruise ship Majesty of the Sea stop at Nassau, Cococay Island and Key West on day 2, 3 and 4 of cruise. The cruise was short in time however it was not short of fun at all.
