The Trip to Waxahachie

With Paul behind the wheel we went to Waxahachie for the full bloom of the sunflowers Saturday afternoon. When we arrived we found most of the flowers were withering and the heavy cloud did not favor the photo situation. Fortunately there were a few good blooming left and the sun finally break through the cloud just before we were about to leave. On our way back home we stop at the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge for a look at the downtown Dallas. It was a pleasant surprise to find the old bridge beside the Margaret was converted to a nice park and many locals are making good use of it. Denton Airshow

Austin Outdoor

Pictures in this album were taken in three different places in a visit to Austin, 1. Sunflower at Waxahachi along hightway 35 2. Before dusk at Boardwalk by Colorado River where the construction of the trail has just completed. 3. at the Barton Creek Greenbelt with peculiar rock formation before the noon time. 淡水祖師暗訪 Zushi Touring

清水祖師，法號普足，俗名陳昭應（1047年－1101年），本籍福建永春，是北宋時代福建泉州安溪的高僧。由於在安溪清水巖修道，被尊稱為清水祖師。民間俗稱「祖師公」。清水祖師的祭典有以迎神賽會的方式來舉行，臺灣新北市淡水區的清水巖祖師廟，每年農曆五月初五舉行暗訪，農曆五月初六舉行繞境，鑼鼓喧天萬人空巷，世稱「淡水大拜拜」。「暗訪」就是神明夜間(台語暗即晚上)巡視轄區，暗查民間隱情的宗教儀式。Click the picture or the link here:  Zushi Touring
