Old Bagan

Bagan is home to the largest and densest concentration of Buddhist temples, pagodas, stupas and ruins in the world with many dating from the 11th and 12th centuries Today is our third day in Myanmar. In the morning we hired a taxi to Shwesandaw Pagoda for the sunrise and the hot air balloon shooting. For the transportation in Bagan the horse carriage was too slow, the taxi was too expansive (if they have to wait), so we rent a scooter as the transportation tool to go around  in the afternoon.  It is very easy to rent a scooter here, you don't need a driver liscence, no insurance, no deposit, as long as you pay the 7 bucks retal fee the bike is yours to go. Well, everything was so simple that I forgot one vital problem - I had never driven a motor cycle before.  Tday11
